Topicals & Edibles · 6 batch-tested formulas

Two delivery routes. One conservative dosing standard.

Topicals act where you put them — minimal-to-no systemic absorption is the point, which makes them the most predictable category for active recovery and post-workout. Edibles travel through the gut first, so onset is 45–90 minutes; the trade is a longer, steadier curve. Read the dosing notes on each tile.

Notes from the formulation lead

"Topicals and edibles do different jobs — pick the route, not the gimmick."

These two formats look related but serve opposite purposes. Topicals act where you put them — localized, predictable, no systemic dose. Edibles act through the gut — slow, steady, full systemic curve. The decision isn't which is better; it's which job you're hiring the format for.

We built the Recovery Stack bundle around the topical/systemic distinction. The Recovery Cream covers the tissue; the Recovery Softgel covers the rest. The Roll-On is the travel-size answer when you can't bring a 2oz jar.

Topicals & edibles · honest answers

The questions we hear most often.

Do topicals get into my bloodstream?

Topical cannabinoid delivery is, by design, local — the actives interact with CB receptors in the skin and underlying tissue with minimal systemic crossing. That's the entire point of the category and the reason topicals work for targeted recovery without a systemic dose to track or stack.

Can a topical fail a drug test?

Topical application of a broad-spectrum (ND-THC) cream or roll-on is not a known mechanism for failing a urine drug test — systemic absorption from topicals is minimal in the literature. Individual testing programs vary, however. If your employer's drug-testing program tests hair (rarer), or if your topical is full-spectrum, bring the batch COA to your compliance team if you need documentation.

How do gummies and softgels compare?

Both are gut-mediated, so onset is similar (60–90 min from swallow). Gummies have a slower release because the pectin base meters out the cannabinoid as it digests. Softgels with an MCT fill tend to absorb a touch faster. The practical difference for most customers is taste, format preference, and the sucrose content of the gummy.

Are the gummies vegan?

Yes — pectin-set, not gelatin. The fruit base is real concentrate (not flavoring oil). No corn syrup, no artificial coloring. The pectin lets us avoid the gelatin question without losing the mouthfeel of a proper gummy.

Can I use the recovery cream and the recovery softgel together?

Yes — they're designed to work as a stack. The cream is localized; the softgel is systemic. The Recovery Stack Bundle on this page pairs them with the Roll-On for a complete routine at a $16 savings over individual SKUs.

Are these safe with my prescription medication?

Topicals carry minimal systemic absorption, so drug-interaction risk is lower than with sublingual or gut-mediated formats — but it's not zero, particularly with frequent use over large body areas. Edibles carry the same drug-interaction profile as capsules. Talk to your healthcare provider before starting if you take Rx medication.
